Presentation Topic
Metamaterial Circuits and Beamforming Antennas Tackling Path-loss in Satellite Communication
This speech regards the R&D work of ITRC (Incheon Nat’l Univ.) on 6G Radio and SatCom technologies making and testing the beamforming antenna systems suiting ever complicated user-requirements. They are based on metamaterial components and metasurfaces devised to push the envelope impeding reduction of physical sizes and loss from the transmission-line, and reaching high directivity of radiated electromagnetic fields and waves.
ITRC on 6G Radio & LEO Satellite Communication
My research group on the basis of experiencing the projects for developing a number of satellites and UAVs has strengths in implementing compact and low loss microwave/millimeter-wave components, multi-functional antenna systems and reducing their sizes and power consumption.
Business model : Under the motto of relieving your satellite of the burden such as active-phased array antennas entailing power-consumption and heat-sinks, where they set the objectives as making the satellite lighter, smaller and power-efficient, there will be the ITRC for your business in the industry of LEO SatCom and UAVs.
